Hi everyone, attached are the results from Saturday's New Year's kick off meet. It was great to see so many attend and I'm sure the kids were excited to get to race against their parents! We also saw a number of pool records broken. Addy Lin set a pool record…
We had 3 swimmers break 6 team records. Addy Lin broke her own record in the 200 free by 17 seconds and she broke the 100 breast stroke record by 11.42 seconds. Penny did not want to be outdone by her sister, so she also broke 2 records. Penny broke the 200 back record by over 3 seconds and she broke the 200 breast record which has been standing since 1984! Our third swimmer to break a record this weekend was Leo Zhang who broke the 200 free by over 1 second and the 200 IM by 3 seconds. Congratulations to these swimmers and the rest of the team who swam last weekend.
